We are really happy that our new children and parents have settled into pre-school and seem to be enjoying their time with us. We would like to thank our parents for their help with this settling in process, we understand as parents ourselves that this time can be extremely emotional. We are also enjoying this time getting to know your little treasures (many little personalities). Please can I ask parents to bring in their family photo, if you have not already done this.
Many Thanks Pre-School
We hope you all have a lovely summer break and we look forward to seeing you all in September. We would to wish the children that are leaving us the very best start in nursery.
Meadows pre-school staff
The children have had lots of fun exploring the Pre-School garden this week.
We have been using spades to dig the soil, finding and talking about all sorts of interesting insects and creature’s.
We have also been reading the story book “The Giant Turnip”. The children have used and developed their creativity to think of the different ways we could get the Turnip out of the ground (all the ideas were amazing).
We are now very busy making plans to grow our own fruit and vegetables in our planting area. The children are creating lots of exciting ideas.
The children have also loved running up and down the hill (learning how to stop is not as easy as it look’s).
We would also like this opportunity to welcome a few new children and Parents’ to Meadow’s Pre-School. We hope you and your children enjoy this time with us!!!
