Year 5CV
Welcome to Year 5.
This term we have been learning about Anglo Saxons and Vikings. We have learned when they settled here and how they made their livings. We made Anglo Saxon soup, learned songs and in science we completed 'Saxon Smash' which was separating materials back to their original form.
This year's teachers are: Mrs Clark (Monday - Wednesday) and Mrs Varnavides (Wednesday - Friday).
For the first two weeks of the term we have been reading 'Africa Amazing Africa' and have produced some lovely work around this. Our topic for this half term is The Ancient Greeks - The Olympics.
Reading records are due in on Tuesdays and Homework on Wednesdays. PE is also on a Wednesday and children need to come to school in PE kit.
