In Reception our Topic this half term is Expression! We have been learning lots of new Art Skills and putting them to the test, creating pieces of art in the styles of famous Artists such as Claude Monet, Wassily Kandinsky, Vincent Van Gogh. Here are some pictures of what we have been creating...

Celebrations
This half term we have been thinking all about Celebrations and Festivals. We have been thinking about Birthdays, Fireworks Night, Diwali, Halloween, Weddings and Remembrance Day as part of our Topic and we have been so busy!
ZONES OF REGULATION
In Reception we use the zones of regulation to help us identify and talk about our feelings. We use the different zones to tell our teachers how we are feeling in the morning and we are finding out strategies to get back to green!

This half term our key concept is Identity!
Our topic is "This is me!"
The children will be sharing their own experiences, likes, dislikes and finding out what makes them special!
They will also be exploring the season of Autumn, looking at Harvest, where food comes from, hygiene and keeping healthy!
